In this course, you will gain skills needed to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software technology. A CompTIA Server+ certification will validate your knowledge of server issues and technology, including disaster recovery. You will build solid, foundational knowledge of the different types of server hardware and best practices and procedures for setting up and maintaining the technology.

- Installing appropriate expansion cards into a server while taking fault tolerance into consideration
- Installing, updating, and configuring appropriate firmware

- Installing, deploying, configuring, and updating NOS (Windows / *nix)
- NOS security software and its features
- Implementing and administering NOS management features based on procedures and guidelines
3. Server Functions and Network Essentials
- Different server roles, their purpose and how they interact
- Server virtualization concepts, features, and considerations
- Common elements of networking essentials

- RAID technologies and its features and benefits
- Selecting the appropriate RAID level
- Installing and configuring different internal storage technologies
